Overview
Treatment depth is set with three gel pads, and on/off and intensity controls sit on the handpiece, which EMS rates at over 5 million impulses. The touch-screen console offers step-by-step tutorials, preset protocols, and analgesic and ramp-up modes.
EMS publishes the technical figures in an international brochure that it marks as not intended for the USA: 1 to 8 Hz, a midpoint focus 4 cm deep, penetration up to 6.5 cm and a 15 kg console. Two EMS brochures give different maximum energy figures, so we withhold that field.
